Last year, we celebrated incorporating and becoming our own independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit. During that time we reflected and reaffirmed our values as we declared we are still "Rooted in Community". People-power is always at the roots of the solutions to the challenges that we face as our community as we work on movement building issues related to racial and economic inequity, the housing crisis, police violence, and more.
This year we are asking for your support and contributions to continue our work resourcing people, grassroots organizations, and community-led coalitions with the knowledge, tools, and strategies needed to win language justice, early childhood education, safe and affordable housing, education equity in LBUSD, and campaigns like the People's Budget. Your contributions keep our work collaborative, so we can continue to pull together a diverse community of people from various racial, religious, sexual orientation, age, gender identity, immigration status, and economic backgrounds to build a healthy Long Beach we all want to see blossom.
